Перевод этой статьи ещё готовится — ниже оригинал на английском.

  • RBC Capital lowered its Boeing price target to $265, yet still projects a significant upside of 24.76% for the aerospace stock.
  • Boeing reported a mixed earnings report, featuring a strong $631 million in free cash flow but an adjusted loss of $0.76 per share, exceeding analyst projections.
  • Despite growth potential, Boeing's stock valuation is considered high at 35 times EV/EBITDA, leading one analyst to maintain a "Hold" rating.

Boeing (NYSE:BA) is a global aerospace company that designs, manufactures, and sells airplanes, rockets, and satellites. On July 29, 2026, an analyst from RBC Capital adjusted their investment outlook on Boeing. They lowered the price target, which is an estimate of a stock's future price, to $265 from the previous target of $275.

When the new target was set, Boeing's stock was trading at $212.40 per share. The updated price target of $265 suggests a potential increase of approximately 24.76% from that price. This indicates the analyst still sees room for the stock's value to grow despite the slightly lower target.

This analyst action follows a mixed earnings report. Financial personality Jim Cramer called the aerospace giant "at last ready to run," as highlighted by Finbold. His optimism is based on a free cash flow of $631 million. Free cash flow is the cash a company generates after covering its operating and capital spending.

However, Boeing also reported an adjusted loss of $0.76 per share, which was worse than the $0.31 loss analysts had projected. As highlighted by GuruFocus, a significant drag on earnings came from a $280 million charge in the defense business for the delayed VC-25B Air Force One program.

Another analyst from Seeking Alpha suggests the stock's valuation is high at 35 times EV/EBITDA, a metric comparing company value to its earnings. Due to this valuation, the analyst maintains a Hold rating, suggesting investors wait for a better entry point or improved earnings performance.
