  • N-able (NYSE:NABL) experienced a price target reduction from Scotiabank due to a revised full-year outlook.
  • Despite the lowered forecast, the cybersecurity company reported growth in its second quarter, with annual recurring revenue up 6% to $544 million.
  • The company is implementing strategic changes, including a new Chief Revenue Officer, as its stock price trades near its 52-week low.

N-able (NYSE:NABL), a leading global cybersecurity company, specializes in providing robust security and data protection solutions. CEO John Pagliuca emphasizes the company's mission to democratize cyber-defense, a goal he notes is increasingly critical as AI technology rapidly reshapes the security landscape for both attackers and defenders.

On August 11, 2026, Scotiabank analyst Joe Vandrick adjusted his investment outlook for N-able, lowering the price target. The target was cut to $3.65 from a previous target of $5.75. With the stock price at $3.22 at the time of the revision, this new target suggests a potential upside of approximately 13.53% for the cybersecurity stock.

This price target revision followed N-able's second-quarter 2026 results. As reported by Benzinga, other financial analysts also reduced their forecasts. The company itself lowered its full-year outlook, primarily attributing this to weaker-than-expected renewals within its endpoint management and detection businesses.

Despite the challenging outlook, N-able demonstrated resilience, reporting growth in its second quarter. Its annual recurring revenue (ARR), a key indicator of predictable income from subscriptions, reached $544 million, marking a 6% increase. Total revenue also grew by approximately 6% from the previous year, reaching $138.22 million.

In response to market conditions, N-able has announced it is "taking decisive action" to capture new demand and strengthen its market position. These strategic moves include the appointment of Russell Rosa as its new Chief Revenue Officer. The N-able stock currently trades near its 52-week low of $2.92, with a market capitalization of around $603.75 million, presenting a potential point of interest for investors.
